Just a very old hotel. I understand it’s in the historic district but that doesn’t mean the rooms need to be as old!

I was placed in three different rooms becuase things did not work in each one. They ended up putting me in a smokers room for which I paid to not be in. I had to go to another hotel.

Room had mildew on the lampshade.dirt in the floors. A strange smell. Beds were hard. Served the purpose of sleep but wasn’t very clean

There were rats running around and the door to my room had on opening larger enough for a rat to come in. I did not stay there. I did my bike ride and went to Greyhound bus station and waited for my return bus back home to Baton Rouge.

Loud, out of date, broken tile and dirty. Initially the room they gave us had the lights and tv on and bed unmade when we opened the door.. not sure if anyone was already in there.

I have some issues like air conditioner problems, towels i the room, so i requested changed the room and ask for towels too at desk, but evething was solve.

We arrived early the nice gentman let us check in early at 2pm we went to go to the elevator it was Very run down.. No air condition in the elevator..go to our room the room doors where disgusting we walk in and get hit with an over welming smell of mold and mildew.The air conditioner was not working we call the front they send a guy he used a chair to stand on to turn the AC on he set it to 65 walk out. We left the room for it to cool down, went downtown came back at 4pm the room smelled the same. We both started coughing very badly. My husband is a veteran, and he immediately went into an Asthma attack. He suffers from the burn pits of Iraq we immediately made the decision that it would not be healthy for us to stay in this hotel anymore, went to the front desk explained everything to the front desk lady. She was extremely kind told me that I needed to call Expedia to get reimbursement that she would tell them the reason why we were leaving so we could get our money back at this time We are still waiting to get our money back from Expedia, because when they called the front desk to gerify nobody would answer the phone. The hotel is very run down needs to be remodeled extremely bad. Staff very friendly not there fault its so crappy

This hotel is in need of a complete renovation. The key card reader would not read the card to open the door, you have to repeatedly insert the card to make it work. Sometimes the door would not shut. The room was not cleaned properly. The air units are so high up on the wall that you cannot access the control panel (even standing on a chair). The refrigerator does not work in some rooms (Had to switch rooms). There was only 1 ice machine working. An alarm went off all day on another ice machine that was not working. Location was great for my trip. There was a good selection for breakfast. Waffles were good.

After i settled into my room, I had problems trying to connect to the motel internet because I could not determined the location of the log-in space. The front desk manager was very helpful, but the motel needs to have its webmaster to redesign the log-in area to make very clear and discernible. In addition, the cable TV in the room only has a few channels and they are all very fuzzy to watch,
