Outstanding staff works to address problems.
Let me begin by stating the obvious. This is a budget hotel. I have stayed in better and, oh have I stayed in worse. My sisters and I booked two rooms at this Super-8. After checking in and moving our luggage into our rooms, my sister discovered an issue that wigged her out a little. If I felt that the hotel was particularly guilty here, I would tell you what the was; but I do not. What I value in a hotel is, when an issue does arise (and even the best of hotels run into issues); when an issue does arise, how well does the hotel respond to it? This Super 8 handled it extremely well. We spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and offered a couple of options to correct the issue and make things right. Then, when my sister insisted that we move to a different hotel, the management apologized again and let us out of our reservations. Allow me repeat that. Contractually this Super 8 had every right to charge us for the two rooms that we vacated on short notice that night, but because they value our experience over our money, this Super 8 apologized for the issue and saw us on our way. Would I stay at this Super 8 again? Absolutely! All hotels run into issues, but not every hotel handles things as well as this Super 8 did.
