Not High Quality
Very disappointing. The carpet had red stains. The wall corners were missing corner protection-- looks like it was ripped off the wall with obvious damage. The AC vent had visible black mold or mildew. Our clothes and suitcases smelled of this awful mold even after we traveled back home. The shower did not drain and we stood in 3 inches of standing water while showering. The beds were not comfortable. I immediately told front desk of the damaged room, they said they would make a note of it. They were booked, couldn't move us or didn't move us to another room. As we checked out, I showed pictures to the front desk and explained everything again. She said she would see what she could do to give us a rebate if she could. She would talk to management and we never heard anything. I definitely will not be back.
The breakfast buffet was overly priced and should have been free for the $240 per night rate.

The property itself was great but they charge for everything including wifi and $24.00 each to eat breakfast. Unless you are a member you pay for all of it. After paying over $200.00 a night you should receive at least wifi.

Not what it used to be
Bathtub was dirty, phone didn’t work, elevators look like they are about to fall apart. Pool was nice and warm but too much chlorine. Food at the restaurant was not that good.

The property was very clean and well attended for the most part. Only thing is some of the things they have listed as free aren’t exactly free such as Wi-Fi. It says they have free Wi-Fi but you gotta pay for it. How does that make sense? Also, this hotel doesn’t offer any free meals like the other surrounding Hotels that I could’ve gotten way cheaper and been in the same type of environment for less cost and free Breakfast at least
if I had to book another hotel in Birmingham, it definitely would not be this one Just simply because it’s overpriced and you don’t get your moneys worth out of it
