This hotel had promise. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the weekday housekeeping team was excellent—thorough and consistent. They deserve credit.
Unfortunately, the hotel itself is showing its age. The carpets are stained, showers have mildew, and the hallways and rooms have a musty smell unless the AC is left running.
The on-site restaurant was just okay. Food lacked flavour, and one meal was delivered uncovered—just a plate, no lid—which felt unhygienic.
One disappointing moment was when I asked for extra towels and if I could hand off dirty dishes. When the staff arrived, I was told, “This isn’t the hotel’s plate, it’s the restaurant’s—but sure, I’ll take it.” That comment made it clear there’s a lack of coordination between teams.
The biggest issue was weekend housekeeping. Despite using the hotel’s texting system each morning to request towels, I returned to a room that wasn’t properly cleaned: no fresh towels, empty toilet paper roll still on the holder, bins left unlined, and food garbage from the day before not taken to garbage. It seemed the only “cleaning” done was folding the bath mat.
After a 10-day stay, the inconsistent service—especially on weekends—left a bad impression. Would I return? Only if I had no better option.
