Our overall stay at this hotel was just okay. The room we stayed in was not up to high standards, but it wasn't as rundown as some reviews made it out to be. If you're traveling on a budget and have access to a car, the location is fairly close to Nashville and an be a decent option to consider.
However, the biggest downside of our stay came from our interaction with a particular female receptionist during check-in. We asked for extra room cards for our group, which should have been a routine request, but were instead met with a poor attitude. Things escalated further when the room cards didn’t work and it is not the lt on our part. When we sought help, she not only refused to assist us but also yelled at one of our group members.
Her behavior was shockingly unprofessional. She made comments along the lines of: "If you guys want to be on a budget, don't go here. You don’t expect Hilton treatment here." To make matters worse, she went as far as saying that if we returned again to her, she would not offer any help whatsoever.
Additionally, the shower head in our originally assigned room was broken. When we brought this up and asked about the possibility of a room change, the same receptionist raised her voice and continued to speak rudely and dismissively.
The customer service we received specifically from this individual was completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope the hotel management takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements to staff training.
