This is the first time I write a negative review about a hotel, even though I’ve stayed in other places that also had some issues — but this one truly deserves it.
On the second day of our stay, we lost WiFi in our room. We made several calls to the front desk explaining that we needed internet access for work and for my daughter’s homeschooling lessons. They told us a technician would come, but nobody ever showed up. After waiting for two hours, we called again, and this time they said it was a “general issue” in the hotel and it would not be fixed that day. That explanation was clearly not true, since we were forced to go down to the lobby to work, where the WiFi was working perfectly fine.
The next morning, we had to check out at dawn, leaving behind paid time at the hotel, because my daughter had an important Zoom session with her school that required a quiet space. She obviously could not do that from a noisy lobby.
My advice: if you need a hotel with reliable WiFi for work or school, this is definitely not the right place.
