We arrived at the hotel around 11 PM on Friday night. While getting ready for bed around midnight, I noticed a large stain on the bed skirt and floor. Upon closer inspection, it became clear the stain was vomit. Since it wasn’t directly on the bed and we had to wake up early at 6 AM for a full day at Disneyland, we decided not to inform the front desk at that time. We knew they would likely ask us to move rooms, and repacking a family of four at that hour just wasn’t feasible.
Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. In addition to the vomit stain, we found other stains that appeared to be blood, dirty nightstand drawers, and debris on the comforter.
The next day, we returned from Disneyland late, around midnight, and checked out of the hotel Sunday morning. At that point, we informed the front desk about the vomit stain. However, instead of apologizing, the representative questioned why we hadn’t reported it earlier, despite us explaining the inconvenience of moving rooms late at night. She said she’d escalate the matter to the manager, who would contact us the next day. It’s now been three days, and I haven’t heard back from anyone.
My fiancé is currently staying at the same hotel for a work trip and tried to address the issue directly with the manager. Unfortunately, he was told that because we booked through Hotels.com, we need to resolve the issue through them.
I’m upset by the lack of cleanliness and the poor customer service and hope this review helps others!
