I really need to speak to a 'live' Hotels.com agent. I booked Holiday Inn IHG through Hotels.com.several montgs ago payable through Klarna. However, when I got to the hotel for check-in on Thursday, June 26, 2025, the Holiday Inn IHG couldnot process the entirety of my stay. They shared that the 1st night charges could be authorized, but not the entire hotel stay. The hotel allowed me to stay the 1st night but said that the problem with the Hotel.com/ Klarna payment had to be resolved by the next day or I would have to pay out of pocket. I attempted to reach out to Klarna for 3 hours but couldnot get the issue resolved and in fact, Klarna said that I would have to contact Hotel.com to get to the bottom of this. I attempted to do so. But coukdnot getva suitable response. Not to mention that I simultaneously was coordinating an event. Initially the financial card that was on file through Klarna to book this reservation had to be deleted and replaced with an updated card because was reported lost. Though the updated card was in Klarnas system, the payment still didnot go through. Again Klarna said that I would have to resolve the matter tgrough Hotel.com. I ended having to pay $403.05 out of pocket for my reservation. I need to be refunded the amount that was not charged to your company but paid out of pocket amount becauseI am already paying the Holiday Inn IHG fee of $1200 through Klarna. Unpleasant
