My family stayed at The Westin in club room (2 double beds) for 3 nights from 12/28 to 12/31. The hotel was conveniently located in the heart of Brisbane for sightseeing and shopping.
First, the good points. Our flight was delayed, and we had to check in at 3am. However, the front desk staff was very sincere and concerned about my family. The room was new and same as booked. Towels and sheets were clean every day. The staff in the club room and the front desk was always friendly and helpful. When we had a little concern in the club room about coffee, boiled water or food, they approached us and immediately and kindly responded. When I needed something in our room, they brought them very quickly.
Next, I will describe the bad points. There was a sand-like substance on the floor, which was not cleaned until the end of the stay. The electricity was suddenly cut off once a night, but it was restored immediately. When we took a shower, we found a small amount of backflow from the drain, which was a little troubling.
The hotel staff was excellent, very sincere and helpful. The facilities and cleaning were generally satisfactory.
