I have been to this hotel on two previous occasions and found it overall to be very good but on this visit I was very disappointed.
To start with I had arranged to be collected from the airport by the hotel services and for the second time they failed to show up so had to pay for a taxi myself.
Standards have dropped dramatically and amenities have somewhat deteriorated. Food menu is good but they seldom have much that is on it.
The hotel itself is looking a bit tired and in need of some TLC and the bedrooms certainly need some tidying up as regards decor. It is a large hotel but for the first week or so I am sure that my wife and I were the only guests as the only other people I saw were staff, that should tell you something.
As I said, the staff are very good but I reserve judgement on the management, it would appear that if there are few guests then they have no intention of buying anything they can avoid. IE food.
Young staff members insist on firing up their Black Youth Music at about 7 in the morning and keeping it going full blast right up till nightfall so unless you are into that stuff avoid this hotel.
As for the room, yes there is a fridge and AC, TV, although not a lot of choice, the usual kettle and a hair dryer that cannot be used effectively because they run the cable through the base of one of the drawers so that distance is very restricted.
Too many other things to mention in this short revue but overall I would not recommend this hotel any more.
