When I arrived, the staff greeted me pleasantly. When I first went to my room, I was very happy. The room was clean and the necessary amenities were provided. The cleaners did a fantastic job on day three of my stay. In terms of my room, the negatives were an extremely loud extractor fan and the door itself let a lot of external sound in.
The food in the restaurant was lovely and the waitresses I had were fantastic. Unfortunately, the second night there was an issue. Although I paid for half-board in advance, I went to the restaurant and was informed that there was no table for me. As such, I went to the bar but I had to wait over two hours. Due to the long wait, I ordered dinner to my room and was able to eat this around 8.30 which was much later than I anticipated. I was expecting a free meal for this issue but was given a £5 reimbursement for the cost of room service. This was a little frustrating but I did not push.
The leisure facilities were lovely, although the jacuzzi was not working, which was a shame. The grounds are beautiful and are perfect for a walk, even if you don't play golf!
I will be definitely returning in the future.
