The property was NOT a 5 minute walk from the station. It was about 20 minutes and incredibly annoying to get to with our luggages.
We also had no way of checking in and accessing our room. We used international calling (which is not cheap) to contact the property, and they didn’t pick up. We then called Expedia and they told me that the property had “no way of getting a hold of me”. I got no email or phone call, so I was surprised to be blamed for this miscommunication.
Once Expedia gave me the check-in info/code, we were finally able to enter our room but it was COMPLETELY different from what we booked. We were under the impression that we would have a space with two rooms, as it would’ve accommodated 5 people. However, it was a tiny studio that probably fits 3 people and the walls, floor, and door were incredibly dirty (like so dirty that we felt gross taking off our shoes).
I’m sure that other travelers would’ve had a better time at this property, but it just wasn’t for us.
