I really liked the hotel facilities, the room decor as well as the food buffet. There was a wide variety of foods and that was very good.
What I didn't like was that the dining staff and some of the reception desk staff were not very polite and they need to improve their manners. There were very serious, no "hello" or "thank you".
At the reception desk one of the staff members was plain rude to me-
I asked her for simple directions to a nearby mall. She rejected my printed directions from internet as being wrong, without saying the right directions, and after useless arguing 30 min. later she said my directions were correct?! Her colleague was biased and defended her, even though he wasn't present when she was rude to me.
The PC was right in front of her and she could've easily printed the directions for me but she just said "I'm not a GPS and it's not my job to give directions" That was ridiculous! I am a worldwide traveller, it is every receptionist's job to be able to give/ find online basic local directions to hotel guests when they are foreign tourists and don't know the local area! If she doesn't know the local area and is unable to give simple directions, she shouldn't be working at an international 4-star hotel reception desk.
Overall very nice hotel and facilities but some of the dining and reception desk staff lack polite manners and basic courtesy to the hotel guests, which can ruin one's holiday at the hotel.
