Good position with a sandy beach. Not enough sun beds on beach or pools, which encourages the early morning dash to reserve them. Even though there's a nonsensical sign forbidding it.
Smoking is allowed everywhere so balcony doors have to be kept closed to prevent cigarette smoke blowing into your room.
Rooms are shoebox size, with uncontrollable air conditioning. Similar with the shower (in the bath, not separate cubicle) which could change from scolding hot to freezing, in a second. And in the 1970s, we all remember having to put dirty toilet paper in a bin, not in the toilet, but in 2024??!! In a so called 5 star hotel??!! Unbelievable.
The cleaning staff were exceptionally good and helpful and so were the breakfast waiters, where the breakfast buffet was very good, with a good selection of hot and cold meats, pastries, cheeses and very fresh salads and fruits.
The hotel is let down by the reception areas with continuous loud music and pompous reception staff who seemed to be self important and more so than the guests the were suppose to be there to welcome. Not a good first impression when arriving ater a long flight.
