I stayed in room 2 at the Phyllis Court Club the night before the start of Henley Royal Regatta. Room 2 overlooks the finish line of the regatta course. Luckily, it had cooled down from earlier in the week, as the rooms themselves are not air conditioned. I had a great full English breakfast in the Orangerie (a greenhouse dining room overlooking the river) the next morning. The bath is very well fitted, and the mattress is quite comfortable. Amazing hotel with some very nice touches. The US socket in the room was very helpful. The breakfast was top rate - better than most US hotels. Such a perfect place for our first couple days of our trip to London.

The hotel a five minutes' walk from Terminal 4 departures through an enclosed walkway. Since Terminal 5 was built, the location is less busy, and the room pricing is more reasonable. Standards remain high and there is free transport to and from Terminal 4 from the other terminals.

If I could give the staff ten stars I would. They could not have been better. I would have stayed a month longer if I could have. I highly recommend this particular hotel. The food was fantastic, the staff was so gracious and accommodating. Wonderful hotel.
