I stay in a lot of hotels around the world... SE Asia in particular, and this was a true little gem of a new hotel. Especially by Pattaya standards. I would call this a small 4.5-star boutique hotel (if that was such a thing). It has all the amenities – gym, spa, restaurant, pool. Just on a smaller scale.
The room was nicely appointed, modern, new and sleek, with a great shower and generous balcony for nearly every room (as far as I could tell). The pool is perfect — sizable, attractive and with plenty of seating.
There is a semi-private beach you can access from the hotel (across the street and down some steps). This is nice because it is not part of the main Pattaya beach scene. More quiet and less people, and fewer vendors trying to sell you things. You may need to pay the locals 100 baht for a lounge chair.
Definitely eat dinner at The Kliff Beach Club. I cannot speak to the breakfast unfortunately, because I had an early morning tournament.
The STAFF – from entry to every touch point during the visit – was super friendly and responsive. The only downside (for some people) might be the location, as it is about 20-minutes by car from the Central Pattaya action and restaurants, and there is a slight shortage of cafes & restos close to the hotel. But, after seeing Central Pattaya, we were quite happy to be in the quiet cove south of town and away from the scene. All-in-all, we were very happy with our choice of hotels for the 2-night stay.
