Good: The price for the room size & continental breakfast plus airport shuttle. Also close to several restaurants, so we were able to walk to dinner during our stay & had a few good options. Front desk staff were friendly. Our first shuttle driver - didn’t catch his name - was really nice (worked the afternoon of 9/17/24).
Not so good: The shuttle driver named Brad was not pleasant…seemed like a cranky guy. Heard him call the car in front of us a dumba** because they weren’t paying attention when the light changed to green. I would’ve been thinking that too, but wouldn’t have said it out loud, especially with a toddler right behind the driver seat. My son had a snack cup - it was almost 1pm & we hadn’t had a chance to eat lunch yet - & Brad told us he didn’t want to be sweeping up cheerios so they needed to be put away. That’s fine, but there are more polite ways to say it. In our room, there was a weird red mark on a pillow case, hopefully marker but could’ve been blood. Weird because I saw someone say the same thing on their review. I was traveling with breastmilk & ice packs for it, & TSA can be a pain when the breastmilk isn’t totally frozen. I didn’t know until getting to the room that the fridge in the room doesn’t have a freezer compartment or capability. Luckily the staff let me put my bag with the ice packs in their freezer so at least those would keep my milk cold.
Overall, I’d probably stay again.
