Great downtown hotel. Within walking distance to the Colosseum and Central Rail Terminal. Many good local restaurants in the immediate area. Very close to two metro stations.

Checked in and then checked out 3 hours later. Was not asked why by the front desk staff.
Rooms are noisy. Guests hanging around the common toilet talking loudly. Doors banging. Could hear all the street noise through the closed windows. And finally no iron available to iron clothes. Travellers have clothes in their suitcases that get creased. I’ve never heard a hotel with no iron. So disappointed.

후륭한 스탭 분들께 감사해요. 첫 이탈리아 여행을 친절하게 맞이해 주었어요. 우리가 원한 성당 건너편에 있어서 너무 좋았어요. 훌륭한 아침은 일정때문에 한번만 먹은 것이 정말 아쉽습니다.
침대가 좀 꺼졌고 에어컨도 덜 시원했지만 창 밖의 경치와 새소리가 너무 좋았어요. 다음에 또 오고 싶습니다. 로마 숙소를 찾는다면 여기로 오세요.

Fiquei muito satisfeito com minha estadia no hotel, desde o momento da chegada. A localização é excelente, a poucos minutos a pé da estação Termini e a aproximadamente 15 minutos do Coliseu. O café da manhã estava perfeito, com muitas opções deliciosas. O atendimento foi de primeira: a recepção foi rápida e eficiente, e os funcionários foram extremamente atenciosos. Sem dúvida, se voltar a Roma, me hospedarei novamente no Basilica Hotel.

We had an amazing 8-day stay at the Basilica Hotel. The place has a very calm vibe, comfy rooms, awesome inner garden. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for exploring the city, the basilica in front of the hotel is one of the 4 major papal basilicas! We loved coming back to such a relaxed spot after long days of sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious, though we did wish the bacon was a bit crunchier. Overall, a fantastic stay that made our Roman adventure truly memorable!

We had a big group with 3 rooms and the rooms were to die for. The tallest ceilings, an unusual tile floor, comfy beds, and windows that opened onto the surrounding city, and a working elevator/lift. Although we liked the bathrooms generally, the shower floor is slippery so I think anti-slip mats or a non-skid finish should be added for safety. The Basilica Hotel is a short walk from Roma Termini station which was most convenient (also a good place to catch the hop-on hop-off bus tours!) and it seems to be a touristy area so there are lots of dining and souvenir shops around. It is almost in front of the Santa Maria Maggiore and the breakfast area actually has a balcony where you can take pics right in front of it! We had a 2 week European trip and this hotel absolutely had the best breakfast of our entire trip, I’ve included a picture of just the dessert/sweets table. The staff were helpful and courteous, one of them even helped us get a taxi to the airport because the Italian taxis in the area are a bit hit and miss. All in all our stay here was just perfect and we will be recommending this hotel to all our family and friends when they want to visit - it was such a great end to our vacation!
