I wish I could leave a positive review for our stay at Epic Hotels, but this experience has made it our last at any Epic property.
The dishwasher didn’t work. We called Hotels.com, who tried contacting Epic twice. They finally reached Epic, who said maintenance would call us right away—but we never heard back.
We spoke to a manager at the apart-hotel about it, and got a dismissive “But do you need to use it?” before they promised to contact maintenance. No follow-up. Calling the hotel? Just voicemails with no callbacks.
We might have overlooked this, even with two families needing the dishwasher, but the apartment’s condition was awful:
• Carpet with spots and stains
• Vomit stains by the bed
• Dusty and uncleaned for weeks
• Missing basic utensils; we bought our own
• Worn-out frying pan; had to replace it
Ignoring the dishwasher and kitchen issues, the dirtiness alone ruined it. This was our second visit, hoping for better—but it was worse.
Recommendation: Stay away!
