The check-in was easy. The staff was friendly. It is located 2 blocks from the waterfront and boardwalk. The room was small but clean. There are no elevators, stairs only. The building is old, but maintained. This is a 2-star facility, but is comfortable. Restaurants are nearby. Parking is limited, but we had no problem with it.

I have handled my own vacation arrangements for over 25 years now and I can without a doubt say this was the worst experience of my life. I booked this Hotel back in April of 2024 for a September 2024 stay. I utilized Expedia.com to book the hotel and the price was very high for an off street place but I attributed that to the Music Festival that was going to be in town. Note, many hotels were completely booked and Expedia indicated on their site that only a few rooms remained at this property. Days before my visit I went online to confirm my information and saw that there were listings for this same property (6) and the pricing was half of what I had booked at in April. I immediately started to work with Expedia and the property to get the overage I was charged refunded back to me. I wasn't able to get actual people to talk to until the day I was leaving to go on my trip. To my surprise both parties decided to play a game of "not it". Neither Expedia nor the Ambassador would help with getting a refund, thus running me back and forth on the phone to get someone to approve the changes but none the less nobody was willing to help out. Additionally, the hotel was disgusting with stains on the walls and bed. Towels with stains imbedded in them. Dead bugs crushed against the wall and mold on the drywall in the bathroom. I have pictures of all of these issues. The absolute worst experience of my life. they should be ashamed of themselves as they are filthy and they are crooks.

The room had a new AC, which was great and good location. Other than that it has a mildew smell in the rooms. The hallway is sloped over all the property needs a lot of upgrades.

My check in was fast and easy. I was informed about check in upon my arrival and was notified if there were any changes. The apartment was perfect for my weekend accommodations. Nika was very great and also gave me contact info for an on site supervisor. This was a great experience and I would definitely book again.

We liked the convenience of being able to walk to the festival at the boardwalk we were in town for without having to worry about transportation. You get what you pay for, great for what it was, a motel. Would stay again if doing another quick festival trip.

For the price of the hotel it was perfect for country calling. All the staff were friendly. Room smelt very moldy and the bathroom was tiny but for two nights for 4 people we made it work!

This place is dirty. We had to book another hotel and they wouldn’t refund the money. Bugs and stunk like mold. Floor is u even and the sink isn’t even in the bathroom

Upon entering the room, we were hit with an overwhelming mold smell that was even noticeable from outside the door. The floors were weak and seemed like they could collapse at any moment, particularly near the back room. To our surprise, there were slugs crawling on the bathroom walls! Additionally, there were suspicious stains all over the pull-out sofa. We quickly left without unpacking our bags.

We loved the area… very easy to get around for what we were needing. My biggest problem was cleanliness of this place. Yes we expected OLD we didn’t expect to be in a 5 star hotel.. But there was old vomit on the bed skirt of one of the beds and night stand. That is really disgusting. Shortages of towels and washcloths was another issue although the staff was friendly-ish it would have been nice to know ahead of time and we would have brought our own. Also there was an extra charge for the use of gym and pool of which we never saw or even wanted to have used even if we did see it just didn’t like that charge without even asking if we planned to use them

Staying at the Ambassador in OCMD was a complete disaster, with problems in every aspect of the room. Bugs: The room was infested with insects. Drain flies were constantly coming out of the pipes and flying around. There were dead bugs smeared on the walls and stuck in the ceiling lights, adding to the overall filth and neglect of the room. Cleanliness: The entire space was filthy. Dust and dirt covered every surface, and it was clear that nothing had been cleaned properly. The couch was stained, grimy, and smelled awful. To make matters worse, there were mysterious smears on the walls that I didn’t even want to think about. Smell: The odor in the room was overwhelming. The couch had its own foul smell, but the entire room reeked of weed, making it impossible to escape the stench. Safety Concerns: There were major safety hazards, too. A floor lamp had a light bulb barely hanging out, which seemed like a fire hazard waiting to happen. On top of that, the floorboard leading into the bedroom was rotting, and I felt like it could give way at any moment. Health Issues: The worst part was the physical reaction I had after staying there. I woke up with my eyes swollen shut and my entire body itchy. Even my ears were red and swollen. I’m not sure what was in the bed or room, but it clearly caused a severe allergic reaction. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic cleanliness and comfort. I was met with a room that was not only disgusting but also a health hazard.

The room had no light bulbs in the lamps. The switch for one lamp was broken off. The gfci receptacle by sink did not work and could not be fixed. They had to give us a different room

The staff was not friendly except the girl at checkin. The shower sprayed everywhere getting the floor wet. The shower curtain was made for a round tub shower and had slits it, spraying water everywhere. Asked the front desk for a hand towel and bath rug, said simeone will bring it up and he wrote it down. Never got them bit they did take the bath rug we had drying outside.

No blow dryer in the room. Went to lobby to ask for it twice but still didn’t send it to the room. By the end, I slept with wet hair and woke up with not fully dry hair. No coffee cups in the room, had to ask from the front desk. Very noisy air conditioner. Luckily I had a Benadryl to help the sleep.

Went for the week with my family. 1 year old my husband and mom and dad. We had a great time. You get what you pay for. It’s ocean city and that’s what you get for ocean city for the price.
