Expect the basics and you won't be disappointed
I have been here before and am used to the rundown condition. Mostly tradesmen but also many regular colourful characters. This time I got room 26 in the courtyard. It was noisy until 11 pm. Next time I will ask for a room facing the carpark - last time I had 12 or 12A which were much quieter . Sheets were clean as usual. Didn't use the TV. Fridge works fine

My room was so dirty. There was dried noodles on the wall and drink stains all over the back of the door. There were previous visitors belongings under the bed

Fine for a stop over - not for a vacation
They are currently undergoing renovations and once done will be absolutely gorgeous. Upon arrival, no one was at reception. I rang the bell no one answered. I called the mobile number supplied no one answered. I called the work number no one answered. Reception called back and said they would be right there. It’s still took them about 15 minutes. Went up to the room and was perfectly fine. Clean sheets, clean towels shower was great. Faucet set up so you can really blast the shower. Only issue was a few dirty earbuds and coffee cups in the room. You get what you pay for. It was the cheapest room in town available and I needed somewhere to stop over. Just beware some nefarious type characters are staying there and they were arguing throughout the night that is double locks on the doors so was safe but again you get what you pay for.

Room was clean but very small and set for only one guest - no spoons, one bowl, one coffee cup. Outside of building was like a work zone with lots of boxes and half finished projects. No clear instructions on use of door key fob. Whole building needs some TLC and this Is hindered by heritage listing. Convenience to station and shops and plenty of parking positives.

Was not happy with noisy young guests next door waking myself and my eldest up at 3am screaming all sorts of cuss words and continuing until the morning blind drunk. I could not get a hold of staff to help us and when I phoned in the morning, the manager told us he would chase compensation further as I felt I wasted money. I am a single mother trying to move from Queensland to Melbourne and was exhausted from the drive, only to end up just as tired the next day! I heard nothing back and am really disappointed, more so the fact that these kids got off scott free, I feel they should have had to contribute to part of my hotel fee, even $50 for running my stay and waking my son who was so sick that he was the reason we were staying in Albury all together as he needed the afterhours doctor clinic there. I am very disappointed in the service recieved regarding this issue, very much felt like they did not care, they got thier money and I got no sleep. Otherwise I would have been happy to stay again, clean room, good location and the lady at the desk is lovely.
