Great staff, good communication, quick airport pickup and drop off, good food and drinks available onsite, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Unfortunately the plumbing in my bathroom sink and shower was bad. I couldnt get the hot water in the shower to work and it was too early in the morning to get help. And the sweet kitties on the property yowling at night and the planes overhead made for difficult sleeping. Positives and negatives. Great price, though.

everything was wrong. there was no airport shuttle service. no one at the airport or taxi driver knew of the rio2. total chaos after a 13 hour flight. room had NO HOT WATER, NO HEAT and was in poor condition. totally unacceptable. have relied upon hotel.com referrals to be of acceptable quality. this was NOT. hotel.com FAILED ME and making a poor impression to my good friends.

I arrived in San Jose around midnight and booked a room close to the airport. It was pretty clean and the staff was fantastic. The setback was that planes taking off directly overhead makes it hard to sleep. I was so tired that i did get some rest and it wasn't a big deal for me. In conclusion i guess i probably won't book here again and that makes me feel sad because the staff was so good.

Very close to the airport, clean room, AC available. Family business. They also have a restaurant/bar. The hosts are nice and provided cold bottle water to me when I arrived. I had to go to the airport at 4:30 am and the host was nice enough to drive me there at this hour. They do provide breakfast but I checked out too early.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is a very cozy place with very friendly staff who made me feel welcome. ​However, there are a few things future guests should be aware of: ​Finding the hotel: It is quite difficult to find because there is very little signage outside and it’s not clearly marked on the map. It is actually connected to the restaurant shown on the map, so look for that instead! ​Communication: I found it very hard to get in touch with the hotel beforehand. The phone number listed on the website does not work, which was quite frustrating.

Family own business that treats you like their own. Very nice, clean and close to the airport. The best part is that they also have a restaurant so you don't have to look for places to eat. They have laundry service too.

We booked this hotel very quickly and came to find out. It’s in the middle of a restaurant very rundown not at all what you’d expect Beware we did not stay here. We rented another hotel. They would not refund us our money.

He actually did not stay at the property. The neighborhood around it looked very scheduled, not feel comfortable leaving the rental car outside. They did offer us a small area of a small area inside the fence for us to park. The room was dark and windowless and smelled heavily cleaner. We decided to go across the street and stay at the Holiday Inn express.
