Very nice cabins in a beautiful mountain location. Room was spotless, the fire pit was a nice plus and the mini kitchen was well stocked with essential equipment, dishes and utensils.

Ok

The setting of this cabin and resort is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, our drive took longer than anticipated due to bad weather. We got to Blairsville and realized we never received a text with a cabin number or lock code. We were able to get in touch with someone but the call dropped before we could get the code. We eventually found a small spot on the highway where we could make a call and got instructions. There is no cell service at the cabin. There is a landline. There is running water but it only worked for a minute or two at a time so be prepared. The bathroom and shower is very nice, besides the water issue, and the wood walls and ceiling were sealed. The living areas had wood walls and ceiling that are not sealed and there’s a significant amount of mold growing, mainly in the kitchen area and near the front door. The bedding needs replaced. Pillows not moisture proof and very musty. There’s approx. 50 stairs to get from the parking spot up to the cabin. The stair railing looks like it has lighting, but it was not lit up when we arrived in the dark.

Let me say this is remote. Not a few miles from town. Bring supplies with you. No wifi or tv. If you have T-Mobile you will not have service. My husband has Verizon and had service the whole time. This is why we stayed here though. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Lots of fireflies too. Communication with Anna was fantastic. Everything was super clean, inside and out. My husband and I had a great getaway. I chose this place not only for remote but it was 45 min in any direction to what we were doing. My only cons: the table inside doesn’t fold up. It would be great if it did for space. The ac was great but the location isn’t the best. It blows right into the table and then back into the return. We had the queen bunk beds (my husband and I cannot fit on a queen together). I slept on the top and it was at least 10 degrees hotter. Neither of these were deal breakers and we’d absolutely stay again. Just a suggestion for improvement.

The staff were so helpful and gracious. The bed in my original room was elevated as was the bath. They very kindly switched me to a different location so that I could avoid all the up-and-down movement with my knees. This was a great place to visit with dogs. Hiking, sitting by the campfire and resting near the big postcard window were memorable and relaxing ways to pass the time with furry friends.

It is a beautiful property. Very peaceful and safe. We had a great time and were able to do some hiking and site seeing in the area. Our dog had a great time too!
