The place was outdated and filthy. Had to ask for extra towels and never had made service in the room. Never had plastic cups by the sink in the bathroom had to buy our own. Would never go back.

Worst hotel stay ever

Worst hotel ever not clean smelled like pee,carpet coming up, couldn’t use shower there was hair in tub, bed was horrible, no breakfast pool room was closed couldn’t get a reason why. Not friendly as well lady was dressed in ran down clothes. Photo of hair in bathtub.

Had to call for someone to come check me in. Guy was not very pleasant. Took a good 10-15 minutes to check me in. Room had a burnt out light. Lots of lady bugs crawling around. Desk chair was broken. Outlet in bathroom didn’t work. No continental breakfast. Not sure if I’d stay there again.

Where do I start. Breakfast and pool were closed "due to maintenance". Was not informed when I booked hotel or when I checked in. Bedding was thin with holes. Mattresses had stains on them. Wautoma temps this weekend were below zero with wind chill in the -teens. Unfortunately, the wind was blowing in through the A.C. outlet and through the seams in the outaide walls. Rather stay in the car next time.

Owner was complete jerk. Booked a double queen and he didn’t have any double queens available when we arrived. We settled for a single king and went to the room. Realizing one of our people would have to sleep in a recliner, I went to the desk and asked for an additional blanket. He yelled at me for 20 minutes because we had 3 people in a king room and wanted me to call Orbitz and ask them why they let me book a double when none were available. After about 45 minutes, he bought a worn out stinky comforter to the room. Then 20 minutes later, he called my room and asked me to come to the front desk, when I went there, his wife wanted to charge me additional money. Complete joke. There’s not many options in Wautoma but I’d avoid this place if possible.

This was my second stay at this property. The first time, I was surprised to find a pool because it was not listed in it's amenities. So no bathing suit. This time, I invited family to join me in the pool. There we were in our suits ready to enter the pool area, and we were told that the pool was closed for repairs. It wasn't, it was the breakfast area that I only found out about the next morning. The hallway carpets were stained and dirty and were very offputting.

The room was clean and had the basics. The fixtures are a bit tired. The toilet seat has seen better days. the ceiling had been repaired but painted in areas with a different shade of white. Outside the areas were free of debris but the stone area the plantings could use a good weeding. Overall, a decent place to stay - not much available in Wautoma, Wi. We have stayed there more than once.

Unfortunately shower didn't work when we tried using it in the morning. They fixed it but we were on a schedule and it was too late. I asked for a small refund for the inconvenience. Only time will tell if I get one.
