DO NOT STAY with OYO Company We booked on 1st July and arrived at 3pm on 6th. We knocked on the front door which was locked and were left standing there for 40 minutes until my wife heard some laughing in the basement apartment she called to them and eventually a Brazilian maid who spoke very little English came to the door she told us to go away and go back to the train station we showed her the booking on our phone and asked if there was anyone to check us in by telephone translator she told us again to go to “shop in station”. We were confused as most people would be. We were left sitting outside the property for nearly two hours eventually the maid came out and told us to follow her we walked back to Ealing station and she showed us to a small news shop with Indian owners. I showed them the booking on my phone and they told us we needed a code from OYO which should have been emailed to us but never was. It took us another hour and a half to contact Expedia and get them to contact OYO to send us a code and eventually release a key to us. The TV didn’t work, the air conditioning was broken, there was no hot water and the kettle was broken and the OYO representative promised to get someone to call us but never did. This experience has put me off ever booking another online hotel again in future I will book direct or turn up on the day. A very bad experience.
