It was a bit strange that all communications took place by messaging and I never spoke to let alone met a human, but I did get my entry codes and it all worked out fine. Very clean and comfy in a great location.

We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! Although it's located on a busy street, our room was very quiet thanks to the noise-cancelling windows and electric shutters. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, including shaving and dental kits, shower caps, and a variety of cute little bottles of toiletries. I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. Later in my stay i discovered that the metro stationPlaza Castilla, was in walking distance from there but I can’t say much because did not ride the it. There are few options...

Hotel and staff are nice. The only quirk is that it requires taking two separate elevators in different parts of the building to get to your room, but no huge deal. Staff and amenities are nice. Breakfast is amazing and definitely worth the added cost. My wife got pregnant here, so 10/10 recommended the bed.

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Madrid
Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Madrid is during January, February, and August when hotel prices are lower. For those looking to maximize their budget-friendly experience, staying for at least 3 to 4 days is recommended. This duration allows you to fully explore the city's rich history and culture, including its impressive monuments, renowned museums, vibrant theater scene, and stunning architecture. With plenty of shopping options and charming cafes, visitors can enjoy a great value for money while immersing themselves in the unique urban atmosphere of Madrid.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find last-minute deals to Madrid on Hotels.com, start by exploring the Deals or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections, where you may discover discounted hotel options near your travel date. Consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay updated on flash sales and special promotions, ensuring you don't miss opportunities to save. Additionally, Smart Shopping is a helpful tool within the app that allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see the best options available. With these resources, you'll be ready to book your last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can vary based on factors like the hotel’s location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates may help you save on your stay in a Madrid hotel. For those interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels may provide a more personalized experience and sometimes offer better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we'll indicate if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it's on the higher side, we may suggest more affordable dates to help you potentially find a better deal.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be more expensive, but with Madrid's outstanding public transportation system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit farther out that’s still conveniently connected. If you're interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even lesser-known nearby cities, you can often find great value for your money. Opting for these alternative locations may provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
