A piece of old Jackson Hole
The Alpanhof is a classic. It is like a vintage piece of old Jackson Hole. Yes, things are a bit down at heel, but all in a wholeheartedly authentic way. Room was amply large, bed was incredibly comfortable, and the location just steps from the tram. Plus at a very affordable price. Stay here while you can as I am sure the new owners at Snake River Lodge have big plans for this piece of real estate.

Plenty of parking. But don’t forget anything because it’s not attached to the hotel. It can be a bit of a walk. I got to the hotel and paid a pet fee. Most hotels put you on the first floor with a pet. Nope not this one! I was placed on the third floor! Sorry to whom ever was below. Wasn’t told until AFTER checking in and AFTER I was given a key that the elevator was broken. I had to carry my luggage’s and my puppy up 3 flights of stairs. I would NOT stay here again. It was an ok stay. Nothing to brag about. I wish I would have picked a different hotel in the area.

Our toilet was broken the whole time. Had to turn the water off and on when we used it. Maintenance fixed it once and it only worked for an hour. The sink handles barely worked and need replaced. On the positive side, the beds were extremely comfortable!!!
