I wouldn’t stay here again

I wouldn’t stay here again. We tried again for this trip to stay at this location, however it was not any better. We have stayed her before and it needs a lot of help. To many other good options in North Platte at a reasonable price to stay here.

Affordable and Comfortable Even if Dated

Great little stop for a quick night of sleep while passing through. Very affordable and the services nearby were great for fueling up our family the next morning for day 3 on the road. Facility seems pretty dated but it was clean and functional.

Deceiving bad hotel. Actually more like a motel

Deceiving property. Room we got is in back of property. Almost seems like separate property. It’s like a run down motel. Can hear neighbors talking in normal voice (not especially loud talking). Has odor in room. Towels were new and not washed and had that new towel feel and chemical smell.

Could be so much better of a place.

Need much needed maintenance update. We had to switch rooms due to leak in the bottom hotel room from our toilet room had a stale smell of smoke and when arrival did not have a room available from the one that we reserved gave us one that smelled and told us it had a smell.

There are better places to stay

We arrived at the hotel, appeared rundown and dirty. Stains on the couches, water stains on the ceiling The hot tub wasn’t working and didn’t get the requested room because there was a boiler issue on that side of the building and had no hot water The room was no better There were stains on the sheets and one bed, dirt and dust on the other, the security bar was broken on the door from someone trying to break in and wasn’t replaced. But the TV could stream Netflix so I guess that’s good

What Happened?

I've stayed at this hotel several times, and it's always been clean and comfortable. This time was different. I arrived late after a long day on the road. The front desk clerk told me that the king room I reserved was unavailable, and that she was going to "upgrade" me to a double queen room. She explained that it was an upgrade because I was getting two beds instead of one. I went to the room and found that the refrigerator, while functional, was very wobbly and had duct tape in place of one of the door racks. Worse, I found some small jumping insects in the bed. I returned to the front desk and they said they just realized they had a king room open. A different clerk went and checked it out, and he assured me that it was in order. I went and found that it had hair in the shower and on the sink, concerning stains on the bedding, and stains in the refrigerator. Since it was almost midnight, I cleaned the shower and sink myself and took a shower. When I walked to the bed, I found hair (not mine) and dirt stuck to the bottoms of my feet. The day I left, I noticed that the sink did not drain and the toilet did not flush. Shortly after, I found sewage in the shower. I reported it to the clerk, and she shrugged and said someone was working on the plumbing. I don't know if this hotel has new management or staff turnover, but it is much different than it used to be. I'm glad I didn't bring my mother on this trip! Also note breakfast is only open from 6:30 to 9:30.

Does anyone have a working hot tub these days????

Our main go to must haves are always an indoor hot tub and a warm breakfast. After making a reservation, we were angry to get to the check in desk only to find out the pool was under repair. We had even verified with Ramda's main reservations center that the North Platte site had a working hot tub. Can you tell this happens to us frequently? I long for the days you could EASILY call the hotel direct to make your reservation!!!

Entrance check in area looks nice. Then you get to the halls and in disrepair. Room clean. Put our deadbolt on then in morning took us 10 minutes to unlock it. Not safe if a fire!!

First room they checked me in had a nasty smell and it looked like something had been splattered on a large portion of the ceiling. Did something bad happen here? I think the ceiling is just falling apart in small little pot marks at a time. They gave me a different room. Didn't smell this time put someone needs to wipe some black crud off the wall be the heating unit. Caulking around sink area was terribly applyied and had dirt or mold in it around faucet area. This is the 4th time I've stayed here and put up with all the loose ends but now there are a lot better options in the area for my next viist to North Platte.

Sad, Dirty, Shameful

The staff was short and sarcastic. The rooms were dirty. My hotel room literally had a broken toliet seat and no toilet paper. Overall, just a sad experience. I am really sad.
