Nice room, good location

We arrived at 3:00 on Sunday and were told that our room wasn't ready (they had a buy-out, whatever that means). They gave us 2 free drink coupons and said they would call or text me when the room was ready. We changed into swimsuits in the pool restroom and sat out by the pool for OVER 2 hours waiting for our room to be ready. We never got any notification from them, my husband kept asking at the bar which is also the check-in desk. Finally, a little after 5PM, he checked, and the room was ready. The room was nice and clean and the prices for the mini bar were fair. The staff was nice and friendly and ended up giving us more free drink tickets, which we didn't use.

Contemporary Palm Springs style

This is a fun, stylish and relaxing property with a lot of different seating and lounging opportunities around the large pool and various games like ping pong and bocce available. We appreciated the drink and food options available right there. Do be aware that the sink and shower are open to the room (I don't prefer this as my spouse gets up earlier than I do) and, personally, the luxury linens (as advertised) did not feel particularly luxurious to me. Also, I would think a lot of patio rooms do not have a view of the pool as advertised. No problem for us, as the pool was a 30 second walk away. I would definitely stay again.

PS is filled with many options these days, but what I love about Arrive is the spacious rooms, mini bar options ( first in class compared to most hotels these days), and the convenient location. The in-room amenities are also spectacular. Staff and management are top-notch and friendly. Don't miss out on this gem.

Nice venue but no hotel service.

The hotel is a boutique hotel. It’s very basic in its services - you have to carry your bags up to the room (no lift), cleaning seems to be minimum and there is no front desk, just an unfriendly barman at the bar of the hotel. Upon checkout I was not allowed to see the invoice to check, and the same unfriendly staff told me I should get it by email. I didn’t receive for a few hours so I emailed the hotel (the address given to us at check in, since they don’t have a front desk so you can’t call anyone for services). I didn’t get an answer from them so I had to call them to send the invoice, only to be told that the email is for the hotel so it wouldn’t go to them (???). The pool area and the bar service is nice, and they try to create a vibe but it’s not really a proper 4 star hotel that they market it as. The front desk service only works when there is one lady who seems to do everything, and the rest of the bartenders can’t help you at all.

**Review for The Arrival** The Arrival is undeniably a stunning property from an architectural standpoint. The sleek, modern design creates an inviting and stylish ambiance. The pool and bar area are highlights, offering a chic space to relax and unwind. The rooms are beautifully updated with a modern, minimalist aesthetic that feels both luxurious and comfortable. However, there are notable downsides that detract from the experience. The televisions and remote controls are outdated and frustrating to use, reminiscent of technology from two decades ago. Additionally, the "front desk" setup is unconventional and awkward. Staff members use the bar as their workspace, which not only diminishes the bar's atmosphere but also creates confusion for guests seeking assistance. Service, unfortunately, is the property’s Achilles’ heel. During our visit, we waited at the bar for over five minutes without any acknowledgment or greeting. This lack of attentiveness was disappointing and took away from what could have been a seamless experience. Overall, The Arrival has incredible potential but needs to address its service and operational shortcomings to truly shine. For now, it’s a property better suited for those prioritizing style over substance.
