Good staff, room was clean and big. Everything was excellent except for the toilet. It was not working properly. It didn’t work properly for my 3 days. Other than that everything was good.

The room had damages all over. The bedside drawing was missing a drawer. The bathroom had a window that could not be closed so there were dead bugs that got stuck in the ceiling light. Terrible experience I had to check out early and go to a different hotel.

Bedroom was reasonable, however bathroom area was in need of a remodel. Sink worn and rusty, toilet seat wrong size and broken, shower had areas of moldy grout and water damage on the outer wall of tub. We stayed there overnight the first week, returned the next week and we were assigned the same room. Bathroom floor had not been sweep or mopped, as there was still a hair scrunchy on the floor from the previous week. Very noisy!!! People upstairs had a large dog that barked through the night. These people must be day sleepers as they made noise all night long stomping across the floor in heavy boot, knocking the chair over numerous times, moving furniture around. I really thought they were doing construction all night long. I realize this problem is hard to control as you never know what kind of people you are going to get!!! Sleepless experience!!!

Reservation was for a king size bed. Gave us 2 queen room. Asked to move to king size bad room. We were given another room with 2 queens. The hotel/furniture was very run down.

Definitely a hidden mold issue in this room. You could smell at the moment you entered. Walking in the bathroom and turning on the light. I was greeted by a cockroach. There was flaking paints off the door frame. Overall, it's quite clear. There's a lot of deferred maintenance on this building and the roach was just a little too friendly for my life

Wie andere vorher gesagt haben: nicht von den Bildern beeindrucken lassen! Die Fenster gingen nicht richtig zu & waren mit Malerkrepp zugeklebt, aus der Toilette kam das Wasser, wenn man gespült hat, es war dreckig, man hat sich absolut nicht sicher gefühlt, es lagen Kleidung, Zigaretten & andere undefinierbare Dinge in den Gängen, die Badewanne war gesplittert, Obdachlose haben in ihren Autos vor dem Motel geschlafen... Nachdem wir nach einem neuen Zimmer gefragt haben, war es minimal besser. Da gab es eine Küche - genau so stelle ich mir eine Dr0genküche vor. Im Kühlschrank lag noch altes Essen & tote Fliegen. Also in SF muss man sehr viel mehr Geld in die Hand nehmen, um was angenehmes zu finden. Das war echt mehr als unterirdisch, sowas habe ich noch nie erlebt - und ich habe schon viele Motels gesehen. Die Antworten des Hotels hier kann man auch nicht ernst nehmen, da wird sich nie was ändern…

The pros: There was plenty of parking across the street from the hotel. This was my first time staying at this location, but have walked past it many times over the years while visiting Ocean Beach and walking along the (now) closed Great Highway between the hotel and the beach that is dedicated to walking and bike riding (no cars). Beach access is also convenient. Check-in was extremely easy and the staff polite. I stayed for one night. The hotel is 4-5 miles from the city center; however, I purposely chose to say near the beach knowing this. There are public transportation options within 1-2 blocks to get you to the rest of the city if you do not have a car. These was an A/C in the room (rare in SF) but not often needed near the ocean. The cons: The room itself needs upgrading and repairs. As with any budget hotel, some sacrifices to comfort are made for the low price. And while the sheets and most towels/surfaces were clean, there were some issues that I tolerated but were not very assuring such as finding different colored long hairs on one of the clean towels, a broken light bulb in the room, blood stains on the half used toilet paper roll, a broken/missing toilet paper holder, and gnats/flies in the bathroom due to poor ventilation. The room was usable despite these items I've listed, and as a solo traveler, I made due without stirring any trouble due to the low price I paid. However, small fixes could have made the experience a little nicer.

The motel is average. The staff is all nice and courteous. The people next to our room were up all night being loud and probably all strung out. The location as well as free parking get it an extra star though.

Terrible!

The motel is old. You can feel the springs in the bed. The room was dirty and broken down. I don't have high standards and it was bad! The motel is incredibly noisy. There was a taco truck in their parking lot outside our room so crowded we could not park. There was booming rap music all night and people yelling. No one in the motel cares about their guests or service.

WE did have a small view of the ocean waves and a frig beds are very comfortable, shower curtain rod was a spring loaded device that had no spring so was marginal to keep up. we had only one chair in the room for two queen beds but other wise functional.

Mir fehlen die Worte nachdem wir den Schreck verdaut haben sind wir nach 10 min wieder ausgecheckt. Das ging reibungslos und ohne Fragen sind wahrscheinlich nicht die ersten gewesen. Ich muss sagen wir sind nicht zimperlich was Motels angeht aber das war einfach der Hammer im negativen. Lassen sie sich nicht von den Bildern täuschen .Der Boden hat geklebt die Türklinken auch .Es ging nur eine verbogene Stehleuchte.Die Schränke waren verzogen und gingen nicht zu .Mit diversen Holzabplatzern .Zum Bett kann man nix sagen da sich niemand getraut hat sich drauf zu legen .und es hat gestunken als ob ein totes Opossum unter dem Bett liegt. Wahnsinn

Great location. The dunes are right out your window and short walk to beach. Great price. Don’t expect anything fancy. It’s a very simple room. Much older. Room was very clean though! Highway is kind of dirty looking. I did see homeless quite a bit as well. It’s a noisy area and people coming and going can be loud and our room was right by the stairwell, lots of loud echoing voices. The roof felt stuffy each time we returned it. It met our needs, just a place to sleep and shower. Gone all day every day! Great fir kids and family’s and pets too
