The hotel is beautiful with loads of historic charm. The room was lovely and spacious, and the bathroom was elegant. The balcony was the perfect spot to sip coffee in the mornings and wine in the afternoons. The rooftop bar was charming and the view of the city breathtaking.

Municipal grand review Gorgeous lobby bar. Great design, nice details down to light switches and real art and shower hardware $500 room spring 2026. Felt nickel and dimed by $75 an hour late checkout, and the only parking is valet- at an absurd $55 a day. Maybe in the heart of downtown of a major city, but in a third market? Absurd to the point of frustration at the principle for both fees. For that reason mostly, 3 stars. Also pool not set up at 1030 am on a nice Friday, couldn’t operate umbrellas on own, no staff for over an hour. Couldn’t reach desk for the same hour and a half. Small hotel vibes. If you want to stay between river street/ tourist stuff and garden district with more local / cooler new restaurants that way, it’s a good in the middle. Would do bardo or something on the river next time.

I recently stayed at this hotel during a trip to Savannah, and while there were definitely some highlights, there were also a few disappointments. On the positive side, the adult drinks were absolutely fantastic. The bartenders clearly know what they’re doing, and the cocktails were one of the standout parts of our stay. However, the main reason we chose this hotel was for the rooftop pool, and unfortunately it was unavailable during our entire stay. That was a major letdown, especially since the pool was a big part of why we booked this property in the first place. The only compensation offered was a free glass of champagne, which felt underwhelming given the circumstances. For something that significant, I really feel the hotel should have provided some form of credit or meaningful accommodation. Overall, the hotel has potential and some great amenities, but the lack of access to the rooftop pool—and the minimal compensation—left us disappointed.

Check in was really smooth. The lobby, restaurant and bar area is gorgeous. Our room was beautiful and beds were comfortable. And everything was in walking distance. Absolutely would stay here again.

Pros - Valet was very pleasant - Room and bathroom both lovely - Great TV (you could cast from your phone) - Lovely bar / dining area - Had it not been for the cons below, I would have given 5 stars Cons - Check-in delayed, despite arriving at 2.30pm and returning at 4pm; we were kept waiting until 4.20pm. - Told pool was closed during our two night stay. It was my husband's birthday next day, we had travelled from rainy Ireland and were not pleased. I asked to speak to a manager was kept waiting again, gave up and went to our room. -The manager, nor receptionist followed up. - We had a room with a patio, which was lovely and spacious, but the deck chairs had black mould underneath so wouldn't use and the table was water damaged with bits of wood hanging out, not pretty to look at. We did receive a coupon for a glass of bubbly and then when checking out discovered a $50 credit. Total cost to me £745 (incl valet). Initially I was told it was unexpected maintenance, then learned later this was not the case it was planned maintenance. Had I known that the pool would be closed, I'd have booked somewhere else. I couldn't get a response as to why we weren't notified in advance.

Stunning design and lovely staff. Couldn't ask for better ambiance. Love the layout and cocktail-centric vibe, as we are Death & Co fans. However the shower in our suite was extremely slow to drain, nearing the point of overflowing the walk-in ledge in a short time, and it took two requests to have it repaired. The fact that we had to ask multiple times for repair detracted from what would have been an all-star hotel experience.

The interior design is almost as impeccable as the wonderful staff! From the front desk to valet and bartenders in both bars, everyone was so friendly and helpful! We had an early morning event and valet made sure we had our car accessible. Our room was tidy and the bed was comfortable. My husband left his AirPods and they rang us to grab them! My only complaint is our schedule only allowed us to stay one night. We travel to Savannah monthly for work and are planning to make this our spot!

All of the staff were so friendly, the rooms were so cute, unique and clean. The bars were lively and comfortable for solo travelers. The hamburger was delicious. Can’t wait to come back. What a great classy hotel for a reasonable price!
