The property is approximately 2 hours by car from Huanglong jiuzhai train station. If taking the shuttle bus, which takes 2 hours, and another 4-6min taxi ride uphill from the main road. The uphill drive is winding, but you be rewarded with a stunning view of the mountains. Every room is built facing the mountains. We particularly enjoy the complimentary activities: horse riding, incense making, sipping Tibetan yak butter tea. We were given a private dinning room for every meal, has big glass window to enjoy the view. The Staff is helpful and friendly. The room even for 2 people is spacious and clean. We will book it again should we decide to visit JZG again. Special mention to Ms Luna for making our stay so enjoyable.

The staff named Luna and her coworker who was a man from Chengdu were very helpful and friendly. My complaints have nothing to do with them. If anything, I have added more stars because of them. My complaints are about the quality of the property. While all the photos look amazing online, the construction of the property was quite poor. The sink isn't real marble or stone and it seems the laminate has chipped on the edges. The sink also splashes everywhere, so they put a dirty sponge in the center of it to prevent the water from splashing. The toilet is of poor quality and there were stains on the floor in front of the toilet and sinks that they weren't able to remove. The showers were hot and cold and sometimes the water stops running by itself. The huge tub in the room is beautiful but has little practical use because the stream of water running into it was so tiny and slow it would have taken an hour to fill it up. It appears that the owner of the property had a great idea to make money but should have stayed out of the hospitality business. This is not a high end property to stay at. Safe your money and go elsewhere.

We stayed at this unique Tibetan-themed hotel as part of our unforgettable journey to Jiuzhaigou National Park, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The hotel’s design draws deep inspiration from the Tibetan ethnic group (Zang people), beautifully blending traditional Tibetan architecture with modern luxury. Handwoven carpets, colorful Thangka paintings, intricate wood carvings, and Buddhist motifs adorned the lobby and guest rooms, immersing us in an authentic cultural atmosphere. Our room was spacious (the largest of the eight suites), immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated with Tibetan accents. The balcony offered breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, especially stunning at sunrise. Luxurious bedding and in-room amenities added to the comfort, making the experience feel truly premium. The dinner we had was a standout, featuring a local Tibetan-style hot pot that was both hearty and flavorful. Using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and aromatic herbs, the meal was not only delicious but also a cultural exploration in itself. The dining area’s cozy, traditional ambiance enhanced the experience further. Last but not least, I wanted to give a shout-out to the hotel staff for the welcoming and attentive service we received throughout our stay. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Jiuzhaigou. Whether you're here for nature, culture, or relaxation, this place has it all. Don’t miss it!
