We had a delightful stay at the Old Pheasant. The staff and owner were friendly and welcoming. Our room was well maintained with a huge bed, recently refurbished bathroom and loots of hot water. Our evening meal and breakfast were both delicious. An excellent experience.

My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions in recent years and have been treated well and at a fair price. Our room including bathroom was, as ever, a reasonable size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good and served with good humour by the owner. The hotel is well-positioned for travel in the area and I would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone.

Really nice stay. Room cosy with everything you'd need apart from a fridge which wasn't a big deal for us. Great bar with a good range of beers and spirits and spot on food. You order cooked breakfast the night before and a full and hearty breakfast it was- very tasty indeed. The manager on site was really good- faultless. Nothing too much trouble and even let me use her freezer overnight! The Old Pheasant is handily placed for Melton , Stamford and Burghley House. Would definitely recommend.

Located in Glaston, we used the old pheasant for an overnight base whilst travelling through. Family suite was generous in space, clean and comfortable. Kids had private sleeping space. We enjoyed an evening meal in the restaurant and was looked after by the front of house team who were excellent. We stayed for breakfast and enjoyed both a continental and cooked breakfast. Food was value for money and service was fantastic throughout the visit. Would stay again. Value for money.
