The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly and attentive, always going out of their way to ensure guests felt comfortable. A great example of this was when they kindly prepared a packed breakfast for us as we had to leave at 4am for the Abu Simbel tour.
The food was excellent, with both breakfast and dinner offering a wide variety of delicious options, much of it traditionally cooked in tagine pots. The hotel also stands out for its eco friendly approach, using solar energy to provide hot water.
Located in a traditional Nubian village, the hotel offers a genuinely authentic atmosphere. The area is filled with stalls selling local crafts, souvenirs and spices, and it felt incredibly safe, with many vendors even leaving their goods outside overnight highlighting the safety and honesty of the local people.
