The biggest problem I had was in locating the place. I did not double check the address and my GPS died. The problem being that all the little roads are named the same with just the type of street changing.... make sure to put in WAY. To access the kitchen you need to pass through the owners living room. They ask that you don't fry or bake anything. The bed is very comfortable and the room is a fair size. You do have to leave the room into common hallway to shower or go to the washroom. There is good access to transit but the airport is 1.5 hours away or approximately 50EU taxi. Downtown is also a one hour bus ride away. Other guests were quite loud in the hallways as it is wooden plank flooring with no covering. Groceries are 8 minute walk away, so that was nice but again cooking is limited.

The host was very welcoming and explained how to use the facilities. I am very happy with the bedroom as the bed was very cosy and we got a bottle of water and cutlery with disposable plates which came in handy when we ordered takeaway food. Excellent service overall.

Bit unsettling to find no access to the microwave without walking through the lounge which was closed off and held a relative there asleep on the couch or lying in bed wear on the couch. Very clean-cannot fault. A working blind on the bathroom would be a good addition as the neighbours get to view everything after a shower or toilet visit. Just wasn’t expecting to have a pensioner living downstairs preventing access to the advertised microwave or kitchen area.

Despite receiving an e-mail from this place saying i could check in as late as ide like after 3pm the person looking after the house took his hearing aids out when going to bed so couldn't hear the doorbell nor the phone ringing. I ended up sleeping rough in a wheelie bin outside the property nearly catching hypothermia and eventually when the caretaker did get up he didn't apologies nor offer me anywhere to warm myself before starting the journey back to Dublin.the taxi cost 50 euros each way and took about 20 minutes to get there so not really convenient for someone wanting to enjoy all that dublin had to offer. Overall thoroughly dissapointed and disgusted with the way the situation was handled.
