This was a perfect quiet getaway in Koh Samui! They even decorated our room in celebration of our honeymoon! We loved the private pool, spacious room and resort overall. It was further away from things but we didn’t mind as we were looking for a peaceful secluded stay! The gym was great to have, the resort also had a movie on the beach night which was so nice, and options to explore neighbouring islands (pig island) was so much fun! Highly recommend staying here! Thank you!

Whilst the resort itself was wonderful, we had staff enter our private pool quarters unannounced on more than one occasion, leaving doors and windows open to the beach front allowing other guests to see inside etc. Hardly the kind of thing you want on a private get away with your partner. Management seemed to brush this off in subsequent emails which is unacceptable.

We loved our stay! The resort is beautiful and the staff is so kind and helpful. The amenities (gym, spa, multiple pools) were lovely, and the food was quite good with ample variety. We loved the peacefulness of the resort and surrounding area. The resort offers daily shuttles to other locations on the island, which is helpful given the remote location makes it somewhat difficult to get to other areas of the island. Something to consider if you want to be close to lots of busy action! Additionally, I agree with other reviewers that the "beach" is really just a local boat dock with frequent boat activity and occasional smells of gasoline. We still enjoyed our time relaxing, but this could be important if you're someone who wants to lay in the sand and swim in the ocean!

C’est un des très rares hôtels qui m’a surclassé en tant que membre Gold de Hôtels.com. J’ai malheureusement eu un problème à mon oreille durant mon séjour, je remercie le service de la réception d’avoir régulièrement pris de mes nouvelles. Excellent experience. The staff were extremely kind and accommodating. They always made sure we felt at home and had what we needed. The resort itself is stunning. The rooms were gorgeous, and always very well kept by room service. The pools were always clean, and so was the beach infront. The restaurant was amazing, every meal was incredible. We cannot recommend the breakfast buffet enough! So so many options, and everything was so good. The only thing I would note is that the resort is not located in any major city. If you wanted the “city experience” it would take at least 35-45 minutes from the resort to get that. We loved it because it meant peace and quiet were we where, and free transportation is provided daily to Chewang and Lamui. The beach itself was not high enough to swim in while we were there, but with pools right there is was not a problem. Chewang also has a stunning beach. Overall, highly recommend!

Wie hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Zimmer, Service, Personal und Essen alles top. Leider liegt das Hotel nicht besonders gut gelegen, so dass man nur mit dem Auto/Roller in dir nahegelegenen Städtchen kommt. Das fanden wir schaden. Zudem gab es für Mittag- und Abendessen die gleiche Speisekarte. Irgendwann hatten wir das Essen gesehen. Trotzdem alles in allem gut!

Ok so overall stay was calm and relaxing however, it is located on the very other side from the airport so it takes about an hr to get here as well as the main CBD area such as Fisherman's village. But if you are looking for smth quite and relaxing, this is the place to go. it felt very private and secluded but it does take a bit to get out of the resort area. We stayed at private pool villa which was wonderful, I dont think I can stay anywhere without the pool but my pool didn't had a night light so it was a bit eerie at night. But there is this one staff called 'Palm' and geez he made my experience from 5 stars to 3 stars. I asked him about the light, nothing happened. Ordered Pepperoni pizza but got Truffle pizza and I asked for noodles from the menu and he said its not available when I can see other people having it. I asked him two days in a row and he said no every time and when I asked other staff, they brooght it out right away. So I don't know if he had a problem with me but damn one staff can change your experience so bad.

Schönes Hotel, aber sehr weit außerhalb

Tolles Hotel, aber in naher Umgebung ist sehr wenig los. Wenn man Ruhe sucht, perfekt. Ansonsten ist ein Scooter unbedingt erforderlich. Der Strand ist nicht besonders schön, weil dort viele Boote liegen. Zum schwimmen lädt das leider nicht ein.

Amazing First Class Experience

The room we had was beyond fantastic. The private plunge pool was an amazing surprise. The room was very large and amazingly clean. Fully stocked mini fridge carried us through the night as our stay coincided with Buddha Day and no alcohol could be served, but it was alreadybin the fridge so that was ok! The staff were very helpful and courteous, even finding a dress my wife had mistakingly left and bringing it to us. If i am ever back on Koh Samui i would definitely stay here again.

Awful experience. 4 nights 4 different rooms. Had staff basically hold me hostage for 2 half days so I could prepare to move because beds work awful than moved me to room with no AC than to room that was 32 degrees cold and couldn’t turn off the Ac. Food not good. Awful awful awful. I should be provided a refund given how pathetic their service and property is.

Traumhaftes Resort in sehr ruhiger Lage

Schönes Resort weit ab von Trubel und Rummel in dem man in wunderschönen privaten Villen mit eigenem Pool entspannen kann. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit und geht auf möglichst alle Wünsche ein. Ausflüge und Aktivitäten werde nach Wunsch angeboten. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte waren für uns das etwas eintönige Frühstucksbuffet das bei einem längeren Aufenthalt mehr Abwechslung vertragen hätte und der Strand der wie schon oft erwähnt kaum nutzbar und durch die vielen Boote auch verschmutzt ist. Ich würde mir ein Engagement für die Umwelt auch außerhalb des Hotels von Avani wünschen, nicht nur Papier-Strohhalme im Hotel, vielleicht auch Mal den Müll am Strand aufsammeln lassen.
