It's the perfect place to stay if you want to hike Itasca State Park but don't want to camp. It's about a 20 minute drive from the south entrance. Cute rooms & very clean.

Room, bathroom and bedding were all clean. You can see recent updates have been made and all standard room items were newer (fridge, TV, microwave, coffee maker). Outside property could use some sprucing up, mainly picking up the random 2x4s laying around and lawn/weed care. Check-in was pretty smooth, staff I met were friendly! Overall a good experience for the price and I appreciated being able to bring my dog.

The room was clean and acceptable however as I was unpacking the truck I was approached by two individuals who demanded my wallet. Beware as there may be crime in the area. The hotel itself was a fine place to rest.
