Charming design hotel in cozy district. Staff are friendly and food were nice.
There are some points which need to be improved to be perfect.
1) Hotel staff need to be more trained and organized. They are very friendly, but there were some occasions when my requests fell into cracks and ended up as loose-end (e.g. no response to e-mail, room dining order mishandled, guidance on transportation was not accurate). Good thing is that they understand they should have done better job and apologized.
2) Facilities need to be improved (e.g. weak wi-fi reception, no hot water tap in bathroom, mediocre choices of TV channels)
We are generally happy and will consider coming back when we visit Liverpool for holiday again, expecting future improvement, but I would hesitate to choose this hotel for mission critical business stay which doesn't allow mistakes happen.
