I had made my reservation through Hotels.com, but when I got there, they were REQUIRING a $50 CASH deposit which was NOT mentioned on the site! I did not have the cash, we asked if my daughter could send the money over the phone, the girl at the front desk was absolutely AWFUL AND SNOTTY, she stated she would not take anything via the phone as they did not know who that person was?? Why that made a difference I had no idea, I asked the manager on duty who made it clear that I was waiting her time and almost snapped my head of saying the main manager is just going to say the same thing so don't waist anyone's time. Mind you I have been in customer service all of my life, I became very taken aback with this treatment, as I would have to sleep in my car, I accidentally left my phone on the counter, there was a couple behind me, I noticed when I stepped outside and came back in to get it and it wasn't there. I asked the woman that was there, and she promptly looked at the counter and said yeah, it's not there. I could have told you that, I asked if we could look at the video as they had a camera going and was again told no, absolutely no help. I went outside there was a woman that I started talking to and she let me call my daughter to tell her about my phone, turned out she worked there, and they allowed us to use her chime card to put down the $50 deposit, so I was able to at least stay the night. Unfortunately, the chime card girl keeps asking for money now!!!
