Don't stay here.

I am writing this review on behalf of my son and daughter-in-law for whom I purchased the hotel room.This hotel was so bad that my son and his wife left in the middle of the night and went to the Wyndham Hotel in Avon which was wonderful. In the Westlake Wyndham, however, the bed was horrible, sagging in the middle. The air conditioning did not work , so the room smelled musty and dirty. I wish that I had read the reviews before choosing this hotel. I just figured, "It's a Wyndham so it'll be fine." How wrong I was!!

We got to the hotel 1 and 1/2 hour after check in time and still had to wait almost 30 minutes for our room to be ready. Also, could not connect to the WIFI. Called down to the front desk and he said they would reset "something", but that did not work. I took my table down to the front desk and tried to sign in there and it still did not work. Told the clerk that and he said he called maintenance and then just walked away.

Stuff in the room was broken. Service was helpful but slow and the cleanliness was horrible the always were dirty the room was dirty. The vents looked like hadn’t been clean in years and the shower didn’t drain probably. Wouldn’t stay there again unless they got the hotel together

Needs some attention, was ok for one night

Was ok for one night but needs some attention mostly outdoors. Bed was comfortable, I thought breakfast was included but would have been additional cost so we ate somewhere else. Location worked for us

Too large of a hotel…with a down elevator.

Besides the one elevator closest to my side of the hotel, not working for the complete stay, it was fine. Did feel like I walked forever because they put me I. The 5th floor, opposite to the main elevators. Forgot things in my van a few times and was a trip to get them.

The gotel manager Taylor Albright is never around and doesnt answer the phone for the employees when there is a room issues. So the front has no clue what to do.

One night traveler

We found the room clean, well organized equipped with all the kinds of things that make your stay very comfortable. Towels were fresh and adequately provided along with toiletries. The desk staff were pleasant warm and very professional with the room presentation. Our departure was equally friendly, very quickly completed and they offered the breakfast buffet. The important feature provided was a great peaceful atmosphere for sleep. Nice soft bed, pillows that played a big role and adequate covers for a peaceful sleep. Would I stay here again; you bet I would. They could provide USB port outlets, I forgot my adapter.

Elevator issues~!

The elevator was often not working at all, although I pushed the button for a few minutes. After asking for a help at the front desk, the elevator was usable..!! It is what I never expected.

Housekeeping walking in during us having SEX

I frequently stay at this property and have never encountered any issues. I rent a room usually for a romantic getaway. This stay turned into a disaster when 1 of the female housekeeping employees entered my room without knocking, while in the throws of passionate sex, naked, in bed. The mirror is positioned just so, that when you walk in unannounced, she may have seen both of us nude. I am quite irate and probably will NEVER return to this hotel again out of sheer embarrassment and disgust. I spoke to the front desk, I was not rude. I spoke with the housekeeping manager who guaranteed that she and the general manager would find out how this happened and promised a prompt refund of my money spent for this horrific intrusion on our privacy. I am yet to see results.

No thank you

We chose this hotel because we trust the Wyndham name and are Wyndham discovery owners. Upon arrival we saw the sign for the hotel and it was a plastic banner on the outside of the building so we're assuming Wyndham recently acquired the property. At least I hope that's what happened. The lobby was ok, the restaurant looked ok, the pool looked nice although we didn't have time to enjoy it. That's where the "ok" ended. The carpets in the hallway were dirty and desperately needed a vacuuming. The room was very outdated and needed some serious work. We reserved a room with a king bed and a pull out couch for my 12 year old daughter. The king bed was very uncomfortable. The pull out couch, I know they are not known for their comfort, but this one was horrible. I felt so bad for her having to sleep on it. Thankfully this was a quick one night stay. One of the lamps were cracked and the desk chair...I have no words. Needless to stay I will not be staying here again unless I hear they have done some major renovations. If you're just passing through town and are just using the room to kind of sleep in, I guess it would ok. Oh side note...when we came back in the evening after visiting friends, the two very long hallways on the way to our room smelled like sewage.

Run Down and Falling Apart

The hotem is run down. You can tell that this place was once a nice place, but there is zero care for it now. The staff is fine, but like bare minimum, there isn't much welcome hospitality going on. The place feels damp, and our mold allergies kicked up immediately. There is dirty linens and garbage in the hall, water stains in the ceilings and wallpaper falling off the walls. We asked for extra bar soap for the shower but I guess they didn't have any? The tissue paper holder also fell off the wall while we were there. Other guests were in line ahead of us very frustrated that they asked for more towels but never received them. The only good thing I can say is the location is nice. Near lots of good shopping and (mostly chain) restaurants. For the price we paid for this place, I would have expected it to be a lot nicer.

Great staff

Staff was amazing and tried to accommodate but hotel is super old tv was horrible but the biggest issue was that the ac did not work the whole time you could be it even breath in our room. Maintenance guy was super nice and tried a couple times to fix it but it was just not happening.
