Rooftop deck and easy walking.
Took the night bus from Ngapali Beach and was glad the gate was open and there was someone to check me in at 4:30am. Luckily my room was ready and since it was open they allowed me to check in right then and not wait until the afternoon check in time. Room was clean and bunks were private with curtains and I liked the stairs to the top bunks. Floor space was extremely limited though with not much room for back packs and suitcases. Breakfast every morning was nice and always coffee water and tea. Loved the rooftop deck, looks over the river. Easy walk to the market, sule pagoda, and about 40 minute walk to shwedagon pagoda or they provide a $1 shuttle there at sunset 3x a week. Unfortunately this was already booked up when I was there so I just walked instead. Nice place and good for the price. Staff was all very nice.

This hostel was great and I’ll definitely stay there again, the only problem was that the elevator was broken and it’s on the 9th (but they call it the 8th) floor....... originally they said it would be fixed by Tuesday, and then Thursday... but I checked in on Sunday and checked out the next Saturday and it was broken the entire time. The good thing is that their restaurant food is pretty good, so if you don’t want to walk down and up 9 flights of stairs to get dinner you can eat there and know you’ll be eating great food. They also made my bed and gave me a brand new towel every day, which is uncommon in dorms and unnecessary but appreciated.

Cosy and friendly place
Overall condition of the place was acceptable, our room had water seeping in from the rain through the window, but since we only stayed for 1 night, we didn't ask for any change of room. We saw that there were towels placed around it so it is probably a known issue. Nevertheless, the room was clean and comfortable enough for 1 night stay.

It is in a convenient location, the beds are clean and tidy. Some of other amenities need some fixing up like the air conditioner and the lockers. The breakfast is good and the staff work hard to please the guests.

Just Okay
Overall just ok. Not great, but not terrible. Location not great, but workable. Staff seemed ok. Have stayed in cleaner and much more comfortable hotels for the same price or less.

Great hostel
Staff was amazing, wifi was great, good breakfast and nice 8th floor common area to sit and relax. Free juice, coffee and tea all day long. Can’t complain at all. To wash clothes is expensive though. Will definitely stay again, had a great time.

Great service for hostel
I stayed two nights. They have great breakfast even they changed the menu from the other day and you can choose from 3 menu. The roof top restaurant is also nice. Their staff is polite, helpful and friendly. They give a face and bath towel. Then next day they gave me new one. I never had such a service when I stayed cheap hostel. The location is perfect for tourist. Hostel is in downtown. You can take bus to the airport from Sule pagoda. I am going back there when I visit Yangon next time.

Nice and quiet hostel with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly but was limited with with English. The breakfast options were really tasty.

I stayed at a private twin room. The room itself is a little small, I find it a bit difficult to deal with my luggage. However, the room comes with a balcony with amazing view and there are free drinks available anytime for the guests in the coffee lounge. The staffs are very polite and friendly. For the price I paid, I am very happy with what the hotel has provided, would recommend this hotel.

Fantastic value
For the price you will be paying, this is as good as it gets. I was in a room with two bunk beds, very clean room with your own bathroom. Towels and soap are provided, wifi was better than most hotels I stayed in. Polite staff with a common area to relax in and meet other travellers. The only problem I had was the air conditioner not working as well, though it might have just been my room. Overall it was a great deal.

Superior Room, 2 single beds
Not sure how to determine when you book but I booked this room having read about some low ceilings and I happened to get one. It is more like low duct work. It didn't bother me as I am 5'2". The bathroom is pretty spacious but found it odd that the shower drain was clear on the other side of the wide space so the water had to travel pretty far and doesn't drain too quickly so don't leave anything anywhere on the bathroom floor that you don't want drenched. The room is a bit damp bec there are no windows. There is a vent in the bathroom which helps it dry fast, but the bathroom and room have matte paint which will probably become moldy pretty quick in time because the lack of ventilation. Staff was satisfactory. I didn't eat the breakfast but could hear the silverware hitting the plates since the eating area was right outside my door. Not so much the voices though. Location was good but a bit dark at night. If you walk out during the day, it is 99% men on the sidewalks, I was told bec the street buys and sells jewels so they are all there for that. Tip: have the front desk hail you a taxi. Other times I've been to and from the airport from downtown, it had cost me 7,000-9,000 kyat but when she hailed the taxi, he only charged 5,000 kyat

Very Center and relatively cozy hostel
The hotel is 1st and 2nd floor in a multi-floor building in Indian circle and near Chinatown and Sule pagoda. 1st floor is reception and dormitory. 2nd floor is devided into two floors for room and small area for coffee and breakfast, that's why they have 5'6" hight room, while the normal room does not have much space in hight either. Shoes off at the door, provides easy-to-clean environment. All rooms have no window, hence somekind humid, but is quite clean. Two single beds were put togerther to make the King-size bed and the beds were of good quality and comfortable. Aircon is quite strong and instantaneous water heater is just fine. Two type of breakfast sets are provided everyday which is delicately made, but may not have seat during busy time around 9:30. And who stay in room of the same floor of breakfast area may be awaken early in the morning by the noise if forks and plates. Staff are nice and always smile back.
