Albion House is really a home stay without an owner or representative in residence. Its a converted 1930s house. when searching for it drive down an ordinary residential road, just look for the house number. There are no signs. As far as I am aware, no codes were sent to me - you need these to enter the house & room. I rang the Doorbell camera & fortunately a human answered & gave me the codes. The Positives. The house is very clean, & coldly modern, there are clean towels, kettle, Tea, coffe, sugar, microwave, fridge, 2 small bottles of water, TV, leftover shampoo, soap and a comfortable bed. It was not cold - not sure how it was heated. There seems to be a communal area but as i was staying only one night, I did not need to use. Negatives: No bedside light to read by, meaning one would have to get up to turn out the starkingly bright central light. The bed linen didn't seem fresh & was mainly synthetic, the pillows were hard as rocks. A representative who came to the house said he would not provide a bedside light. The bed itself was comfortable. There are 3 places to park on the drive but more than 3 rooms - i imagine if full youd have to find street parking, difficult as all the houses have driveways. This is factual review.
