When I arrived, the check-in process was terrible and very confusing. I didn't receive any instructions about how to check in by email. I called for assistance, but the person on the phone did a poor job explaining where my room was. After I finally got into the room, there was a terrible smell. Two people were sitting by the window smoking, and the place was a bit dirty. The space to store my belongings was also very small. The bathroom was broken, so we had to use the bathroom in another apartment building, which was very inconvenient. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. However, because of all these issues, I decided to move to another place the following morning.

I went solo for two nights, first things first the pictures are rather deceiving and heavily altered to say the very least, while a lot does match it's still not the same and leaves out a few key parts like the entrance to your accommodation. Getting to your accommodation feels like walking through an alley at night since the entrance hall doesn't seem to have lights and neither does the little hall you have to get through to your room. The bathrooms are fairly clean though on my stay there seemed to be something akin to a tick or bedbug lying on the floor that did concern me, the locks on the bathrooms hardly work and the handles have an exterior that slides off. And the shower is only a small curtain with no dividers between the heads which isn't great if you have any reservations on personal privacy, additionally the room that contains both the shower and bathrooms can't be locked so walk-in hell. Now the 6 person shared room was fairly neat and tidy, the lock boxes are rather strange since you have to pull them all the way out and lift a big flat wood piece to store your stuff and it's fairly heavy and loud so difficult to keep the other guests in mind, and unlike what they say the rooms arent even a tiny bit soundproof so you hear everything in the halls and outside quite a bit. Overall while fine it could improve in some ways and could use better maintenance and especially make the entrance less scary

Good, clean, and comfortable hostel but the shower situation was unfortunate. There are 3 bathrooms in the whole place for all guests to use, so they can’t be locked from the inside, and the showers are only closed with a curtain. While showering I had an entire family coming in and out of the bathroom to use the toilet which felt invasive and uncomfortable, especially as they left the door to the hallway wide open. There are technically two showers per bathroom, but unless you are VERY open minded, there is only one since there is no division between them. Just one big room with two shower heads. The check in situation was also odd. There is no real reception area, just a number to call upon arrival. They also don’t offer female-only dorms, which wasn’t a problem for me but I know is a dealbreaker for some solo female travelers. On the plus side - Clean rooms, the beds were very comfortable and have curtains, the location is a charming and safe area, and everyone I met was friendly.
