The evening staff and checkout staff was friendly. However before checkout time the maintenance staff came to my room a d knocked on the door, even agter answering and telling them i was in there they just opened up the door. Never have i ever stayed at a hotel where the staff just rudely opens your door.

Stayed one night at MHO Hotel Dover because it was conveniently located near The Woodlands concert venue. Calling it a “hotel” may be generous. No towels. No trash can. No comforter. Dirty sheets. Used soap in the bathroom. Trash, food and used tissues on the floor. And what appeared to be some sort of bodily fluid on the ironing board (a nice touch). The room had two redeeming qualities: the air conditioning worked, and five days later I can confirm I am still bedbug-free. 10/10 location. 0/10 everything else.

This hotel should not have a license. This was the only hotel in town with availability, due to a large event. The door to the first room we were given would not work. The room they gave us had two beds without headboards. Each bed had one pillow. Only one bed had a full set of sheets. There were no towels or cups for the coffee pot. The toilet and sink both seemed partially clogged. My daughter got up in the middle of the night and saw multiple cockroaches in the room. The hotel shares a parking lot with a liquor store, in which a variety of people are hanging out and drinking.

DO NOT STAY HERE. This hotel was absolutely disgusting and nothing like what was advertised. The pillows were yellow and clearly had not been cleaned recently (if ever). The entire room had a horrible, musty smell and everything felt dirty and unsanitary. There were 3 dirty pillows and 2 dirty towels. The overall condition of the room was completely unacceptable, I ended up leaving and staying elsewhere. Also, The front desk mentioned having to kick people out of the room so we could stay there since we booked it in advance. While we were leaving another guest was complaining of cockroaches in their room. This was the WORST, MOST DISGUSTING hotel I have ever seen.

We reserved the room months in advance for a concert, but when we arrived the front desk said she believed they overbooked our room. After a little while, we were given the keys to our room. The room was still dirty with large chunks on concrete behind the chair in the corner, and the toilet wouldn't stop running. The next morning, housekeeping knocked on our door. I spoke through the door advising we didn't need any housekeeping. They kept knocking stating they couldn't hear me and that I needed to open the door. I was uncomfortable doing that as I could see multiple people out there and yet no housekeeping cart. Once I refused for the third time to open the door, the woman was hollering at someone else on the phone saying "I told you that was the damn room." Overall, it was a very uncomfortable experience.

The room was absolutely filthy! Smelled like weed & stale cigarettes. Nasty carpeted floors. Both bedspreads had multiple burn holes. Fabric armchair and ottoman had stains all over. Toilet bowl covered in mold. Toilet handle broken so had to take lid off to pull the flusher. Tank water brown and murky. Coffee “station” was in the bathroom -UNSANITARY! Fridge has a puddle of yellow water in the bottom. Grounds were COVERED in trash. Steps to 2nd floor crumbling and covered with rusted metal. A neighboring room had a girl nodded out at her front door. Seems like this place houses permanent “residents”. Only stayed bc we were at a concert that was not close enough to drive home and all other local hotels were booked. THANKFULLY I packed extra top sheets and Lysol wipes.

Where do I start?? This hotel is worse than one star. I have stayed in third world hostels in better condition and cleaner than this place. All of the rooms smelled like cigarettes and mold. The first room we checked into wasn't clean at all floors not swept or mopped, counters dirty, etc. The bed had two pillows and one pillow didn't even have a pillow case. We went back to yhe front desk and the woman did her best to accommodate and make it better. The next room was no better than the first, the toilet had tons of mold, not just a ring but clearly wasn't cleaned. Everything in the room was disgusting and felt dirty. At this point, we considered sleeping in the car. We had no other options as we were in town for a concert and every hotel within 30 miles was booked, we would have paid any price to just get away from this nightmare. The people outside the hotel were concerning as well. We took all our luggage and belongings with us every time we left the room. Terrible experience. This hotel should be condemned.

My check clerk Ms Harriet was the only reason I stayed this time. Stay last year under a different name but same owner. Sapose to be upgrade the rooms etc. maintenance was helpful, since the phone in the room had No cord ( can’t call for help if needed)
