The hotel is devided in Little houses each with two floor. Everything is manage remotely. If you need something, like Coffee or Blanket, you want have it really. But the overall offer is good.

The room did not seem to have been physically completed. the closet was unfinished and the air conditioning seemed to be inadequate for the size of the cabin. This property would be best for groups not expecting to be in the building during the day although there wasn't much to do in the surrounding area if you were uninterested in water sports (Bear Lake). For us, the property was disappointing.

No breakfast available. Kitchenette was skimpy at best. Microscopic microwave. Brought supplies to make breakfast but no containers in unit or utensils to use. Expected at least a small stove top. No supplies for coffee except hot cups & stirrers. No closets or way to hang your clothes. ONE closet for all 3 bedrooms. ?!? Four towels for 5 people. :( Closet in downstairs bdrm was LOCKED. Probably used for storage of sheets & towels but inconvenient for guests. A/C was reasonable but fan was loud. Bathroom door barely fit past cabinet drawers. ONE bathroom for all guests. NO upstairs bathroom for 3 bdrms there. NOT worth the high cost per night. Location tried to charge the room days before the actual arrival and then charged the wrong amount.

Clean comfy simple space and within walking distance of breakfast lunch dinner pizza chocolate canned fruits and coffee shops. Easy pre-checkin, text messages that explained well and easy simple text message check out. Will use Iron Horse again!

We ran out of toilet paper, hand soap and bath towels - if we hadn’t brought our own shampoo and body wash we would have run out of that as well, they will gladly bring you more if you ask but it takes a while and we did find it misleading that the property advertised housekeeping when no one came (unless requested and even then she seemed stunned that we requested the floors to be cleaned after a few lake days - we have a baby who crawls which is the only reason we asked and had we known the property doesn’t do housecleaning we wouldn’t have requested, it just seemed misleading ) there was also miscommunication regarding beach towels. We were told when we called the property to inquire about towels that they were provided when we got there we learned beach towels were not provided, and because we had called and were told that they were we had not brought any, that left us in a bind and having to run to the market to buy some we were also charged a down payment and then the full payment in the same day of arriving, which put us in a bind financially. To my understanding, this isn’t typically how hotels run (payment done day of booking - total funds pulled day of arrival or departure) not all in the same day. Rooms are stuffy & fans are needed. We left a night early it wasn’t an ideal set up for small kids comfort wise. Best for short stays and older kids. Location is ideal you can simply walk to the sidewalk and be on the main street and the lake. Staff is AWESOME friendly.

We liked having a fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. The place was clean. Some basic amenities like blow-dryer, beach towels, nightstand, kitchen seating & table were lacking.
