The resort is close to Crystal so that makes it extremely convenient. It is very clean, well kept, and great staff. The pool is wonderful. The only problem this last visit was someone had puked in the hot tub and that wasn’t taken care of during our stay.

Staff was nice, but checking in and out was very slow- only one outdated computer. Food was good but pricy and slow. The lounge had a real wood burning fire place which was a cozy place and a chance to chat with fellow travelers. The Inn being located in the park was a great to visit the park.

It was an enjoyable 2-night vacation! We love the beds in the room - so comfy! And the hitting floor at the bathroom was a big plus. I want to high light food at the restaurant and a cafe! Everything was incredibly delicious! Maria is the Chef! She was able to remind me of the real taste of food! Beverages and pastry must have the label "Made in Heaven"! Even if you not staying overnight at the Paradise Village, definitely make a stop at their restaurant!
Anatoliy and Maria, thank you very...

I almost skipped over this property because the rating seemed low at first glance. But after reading through the reviews, I realized most of the complaints were about trivial things—like the lack of a TV—rather than the actual quality of the stay. I’m so glad I gave it a chance.
We booked the family suite and were pleasantly surprised to find it was a small, private cabin with a full kitchenette. It was spotless, quiet, and in a convenient location. If you’re looking for a clean, safe, cozy,...

This is such a great place to stay if you're visiting Rainier. It's right outside the park gates, the rooms are big, clean, and comfortable, and there's a great cafe right on the property to pick up breakfast on your way to the park. Also, a clean, well-maintained hot tub to relax in after your hike. The food next door is good, the store will have any gear you forgot, and the whole property is very nice. Definitely recommend!

Grocery store next door, hardware store and restaurants within a short walk, White Pass ski resort and southern entrance to Mt Ranier NP within a reasonable drive. Pull up to front door of room for easy unloading/loading of car if on ground floor. Pleasant, efficient staff. Reasonable rates for the area.

First off the view is out of this world. The staff was super friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. We went in the off season and unfortunately the gondola ride was closed.

This allows ample time for hiking in nearby natural parks, enjoying scenic views, and experiencing the friendly local atmosphere. Packwood offers great value for money, making it a budget-friendly option for families and those interested in sightseeing and tours of the stunning mountains.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: Packwood travelers may discover enticing deals for hotels by exploring the Deals section on Hotels.com. For those seeking accommodations closer to their travel dates, the Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window section could be useful, as discounted rates may be available. Additionally, using the Smart Shopping tool on the app, travelers can compare hotel prices and amenities to find competitive offers, ensuring they're more likely to see any last-minute savings.
Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate based on factors like the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year, so being flexible with your travel dates might help you find a better deal on your stay in Packwood. If you're interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalized experience and sometimes offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we'll inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price seems a bit high, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable.
Consider your location: Staying near major attractions or downtown areas can be convenient, but it typically comes with a higher price tag. For more budget-friendly options, consider looking at hotels in neighborhoods that are a bit farther away, which are usually more likely to be affordable while still offering easy access to your planned destinations. You might also want to check out independent hotels located a little further out, as they can provide a more authentic experience without breaking the bank.
