Beautiful hotel, with superb service (with one exception). The physical beauty of this hotel brings the beauty of the sandstone exteriors to life with interiors which are more than a match. The staff revel in all the material the hotel designers and resident historian and forager have given them to play with. Breakfast and dinner in the Brasserie are superb and the rooms are very large and lush. The hotel is still ramping up and keeping up the personal level of service will be a challenge but...

Perfect location in Sydney for my honeymoon! We received a free room upgrade and once staff learned it was out honeymoon they surprised us with a free bottle of champagne and chilled glasses right at our door. We had a beautiful view on the top floor, and the bathroom was clean. We would absolutely stay here again.

The Grace is a beautiful hotel within easy walking distance to Sydney CBD. The rooms were large and updated. Our only disappointment was that when we arrived late morning although the room was ready, they wanted to charge us$50.00 to check in early.

My friend and I stayed at the Song Hotel while we were visiting Sydney and we loved it! It was in a great location, right near a subway station and bus stops (and a quick ride from the airport). It was also easy to walk to nearby neighborhoods that had lots of restaurants and bars. The breakfast buffet was amazing every morning, and the dinners we had at the hotel restaurant were awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was very welcoming and kind. We would highly recommend!

The property, amenities, and staff were all first-rate. Our room, a one-bedroom apartment, really, was spacious and comfortable; we made good use of the kitchen and washer/dryer in our suite and enjoyed the hot tub, sauna, and pool available on the premises. We took advantage of the many restaurants, shops, and services within a few minutes walk from the lobby, and made good use of the subway just a little further on for our exploration of downtown Sydney. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Meriton (Campbell) in September 2017.
Taking the train from the International Airport terminal to Central Station was quick and easy. We got in at 7:30PM so the train was rather empty. Getting an Opal card at the airport for the train was quick and easy as well. Once at Central Station finding Pitt street was a little confusing, but once I figured out where we were, it was a quick 5-10 min walk to the hotel.
At the hotel we were greeted by Reese who was really pleasant...

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Sydney
Book for the cheapest times: The most budget-friendly time to visit Sydney is from May to July, when hotel prices tend to be lower. To make the most of your trip, consider staying for at least 3 to 4 days to fully explore the city's iconic landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. During your visit, you can enjoy the stunning Sydney Opera House, take a scenic ferry ride, explore the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden, and indulge in dining and shopping experiences that offer great value for money. Additionally, be sure to visit local museums and theaters to immerse yourself in Sydney's vibrant art scene.
Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: To find great savings on hotels in Sydney, start by exploring the Deals or Last-Minute Dealsopens in new window sections on Hotels.com, where you may discover discounted rates as your travel date approaches. Additionally, consider enabling email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and special promotions. With the Smart Shopping tool available in the app, you can compare hotel prices and amenities, helping you make informed choices. If your preferred hotels experience price drops or availability changes, you'll be among the first to know, making it easier to plan that last-minute getaway.
Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate based on various factors, including the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year. Being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal on your stay in a Sydney hotel. If you're interested in unique accommodations, boutique hotels can provide a more personalized experience and sometimes offer greater value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If the price is on the higher end, we can suggest more affordable dates that might help you find a great option.
Consider your location: Hotels near the city center usually tend to be more expensive, but thanks to Sydney's great public transportation system, you might discover a more affordable independent hotel a bit farther out that still has good connections. If you're interested in exploring alternative, less crowded neighborhoods or even some lesser-known nearby cities, you'll often find excellent value for your money. Opting for these alternative locations could provide a more genuine and budget-friendly experience.
