Warm and cozy home in a quiet location near Haliburton. Steve, Sarah, and their two cats and dog were gracious and welcoming hosts. Our room was nice and the queen bed was comfortable. A delicious continental breakfast was provided each morning and we enjoyed relaxing in the large living room, watching movies and making use of the wifi. Would definitely stay there again.

Sarah and Steve were so welcoming! They are truly great hosts and put a lot of cares into making their guests feel comfortable. Sarah’s welcoming homemade cookies are unbelievable. We loved the homemade jams and croissants at breakfast, local coffee, and great assortment of teas. The house is beautiful and all their pets friendly. We enjoyed the company of other guests too. Thank you for the many local recommendations and great company! And so much more :) We’d love to come back!

Enjoyed The Hosts Sarah & Steve, made me feel like part of a " Long Lost Family ". Nice to interact & enjoy company of fellow guests / we all respected the Privacy of everyone. Rooms & Beds very comfortable & relaxing environment. Long distance , 35 km's away , south of Dorset, but a beautiful drive thru the Algonquin Highlands. Closer to Town of Haliburton. The Expedia information noted bathroomS with rainfall showerS. Plural. The reality was one bathroom with a rainfall shower SHARED among 3 upstairs guest rooms. This discrepancy needs to be corrected. There is a 2 pc washroom through the kitchen on the main floor. I would not have booked had I known my husband and I would be sharing the bathroom with 2 other couples! Upon arrival the hostess Sarah explained the set up and rules (rinse your dishes before you load the dishwasher, don't let the cat out after dark). Steve poked his head in to the kitchen in the morning. At my request he added water to the Keurig.
