The property is in a perfect position overlooking one of the main squares in Florence. The place had a buzz about it from early morning and each evening some form of entertainment (jazz band, opera singer, musician etc) was taking place. Wonderful atmosphere we loved it. We drove a rental car to the property where we checked it. This was a nightmare. Lots of rerouting, pedestrians, street signs are difficult to find. Parking was 25 euros per day. A parking attendant did come to pick up the car and take it to the parking lot, which was helpful. The staff was very friendly. I asked for an iron for my clothing and was told that they don’t allow them for safety reasons.
