This is our second stay at the Bernards Inn. We just love this charming hotel and wonderful staff. Be aware there is no elevator but the staff is more than willing to help you with your bags. I know when we are in the area, we will be staying there again. If you like old world charm, this is the perfect place. It is associated with a 5 star restaurant on the premises, great morning coffee bar and fresh muffins.

An absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind, this is an old hotel. It does not have an elevator, so if you have an aversion to stairs, you should reconsider your stay. However, the rooms are large and spacious and very well equipped. They have a great coffee bar in the morning with fresh baked goods, which are excellent. We are originally from NJ, and the restaurant is an iconic place for dinner. The only negative, I will say is that the carpets are a little tired and need to be replaced. Overall an excellent place to stay and we have already booked our second visit with them.

First time there and not familiar with the area. I was completely blown away. What an amazing, cozy, inviting place to stay in a very clean and neat little town. I wish I could’ve stayed another day and walked around town. Did not get a chance to eat dinner at the hotel, but I will absolutely do so the next time!

I loved this amazing inn very much. A unique and historical building, well maintained, helpful staffs, nice room. Everything about this inn was perfect. BTW, the restaurant was also perfect with the western cuisine and the Japanese cuisine as well.

The bar was great. Get the sliders for a snack. Staff was friendly and cheerful . This was a convenient place to stay for an event we attended in the area. Definitely will stay here again.
